Dealers
A Dealer is an alarm installation and service company. A dealer can purchase AlarmPath products from a Distributor, a Reseller or directly from AlarmPath. Resellers
A Reseller is a "contract" or "wholesale" central station that sells central station monitoring service to many different Dealers. Some dealers may own and operate their own "proprietary" central stations, however AlarmPath would not consider them to be a Reseller. Resellers purchase AlarmPath products and service ("airtime") directly from AlarmPath, and resell to dealers. Distributors
A Distributor is a wholesale alarm and security equipment distribution company selling to alarm dealers. Distributors will typically operate one or more walk-in locations, and may also offer catalog and Internet sales. Distributors will purchase AlarmPath products directly from AlarmPath, and are required to maintain a certain amount of inventory for stock.
